ah, the media has no need of Viagra with Obama in office do they?....you just have to wonder how far "out there" all this can go....are we all going to be forced to wear uniforms with the big Obama logo on them?....forced to replace our pictures of the Lord Jesus in our homes with a picture of an astute and on looking Barack Obama?....not me!....i'm sorry folks, this guy's just flesh and blood....he didn't die for my sins and rise again on the third day...but i'll bet the media tries to say he'd be able to....

Chris Matthews is a disgrace to journalism, he's always been a blowhard, constantly makes a fool of himself before millions of people and will never be taken seriously. Time for people like Matthews and his buddies to get off the air. Wolf Blitzer is another one, can anyone been as boring as this old guy. George Will looks like he could never smile even if Obama made it to the Whitehouse, when was the last time they went out and spoke to the eceryday Americans?

This is what scares me the most. The press is willingly giving up their objectivity to become the propaganda arm of the government. They are setting a standard that will demolish the concept of a "free press" and will do some very major damage to our Republic. It has been the media's job to keep our elected officials honest by questioning them and by holding our elected officials accountable for their actions. By overtly denying this role, the press is doing itself and our country a major dis-service and puts us further on the road to authoritarianism.
I do not hold Chris Matthews to the same standard. He is not a journalist he is a commentator. Unfortunately, MSNBC and other media groups blur the line between the two and confuse people so that commentators are passed off as "impartial" and journalists are allowed to infuse their "impartial" accounts with opinion.
I seriously hope and pray that the American people will see through this. I have faith that God has not left this country quite yet.

I nearly threw up. Obama's propaganda machine - out of "patriotism" to the "new order". That gay Crissy Mathews has been banned from my TV longer than his Messiah Hussein has. He might get named White house press secretary if affirmative action for hiring old witches doesn't trump him with Helen Thomas. Can you imagine listening to either one of those people for four years? I can't. That's why my TV is off and has been for days. I'm glad I don't pay cable or sat fees so it doesn't cost to turn it on or off. I may or not get that box (I guess I need it for emergency and weather) they say I need in February. At amy rate, the MSM has permanently lost me as a regular source of news. At the present, it is all internet. I hate to think what will happen when the internet is censured or shut down because of enemy attacks.

The other sad part is that there are many people out there who actually trust Chris Mathews. Put me in that category before the primaries when, whenever Clinton would win a state, Mathews would say, "Well, I guess X state is just not ready for a black president." But, my mom and my sisters, who are big Obama supporters believe everything that comes out of Chris' mouth. Barack Obama has got it made. He can turn out to be the worst president in history, but the American public will never know.

I am going to guess that the MSM and B.O.'s honeymoon will last about 6 months... the only real fact we have learned is that whatever/whoever the press creates (remember Bill and Hillary?) they can and will destroy... thus it is vital that the GOP not pander to the Dems or the press... Newsweek supported Obama for election but NOW Evan Thomas is saying Obama was elected "on a cult of personality". He is on their cover in the new issue but the picture didn't look all that flattering. What's up?
This weekend C-SPAN2 is filled with Obama books. There are interviews Obama did while he was still a state senator and books that others have written about him before the presidential campaign. Anyone who is interested in hearing what Obama has to say about his own books and the different political books that have been written (not Corsi's of course) should check out booktv.org.
I would like to know why NONE of these shows were shown over the past year. NOW that Obama's elected, they are bringing these old interviews out of the file.

Sorry, M.A., but you and your ilk are the haters. Put your phony Christianity away. You preach tolerance, but do everything you can to drown out the voices of any who disagree with you. You preach unity and togetherness, but only want that unity at the price of the surrender of your opponent's principles. You ask others to "just get along," but shower invective, vitriol, and vituperation on any who dare to disagree with your policy prescriptions. You insist on telling us that "Who gives a rat's ass what you think," implying you and those like you do not, when clearly you do. Else why the flaming screed? I guess the tingle running up Matthew's leg has no end in sight.
I don't care what side of the political spectrum you align yourself with, the fact of the matter is, with that statement, Chris Matthews has proved himself a disgrace to the profession.
In one breath he's calling himself a journalist, and in the next, he's pledging his devotion, like an early-sixties high school girl would have to her heart throb. The only difference is that Matthews didn't stand up, so we couldn't see his poodle skirt.
What an utterly disgraceful display, and good for Joe Scarborough, for holding his feet to the fire, and not letting the remark go unchallenged.

This is the Left's big moment. The Woodstock generation, who despised their bourgeois parents, have become the very essense of intolerence. Firewalls of control and restraint have long ago been breeched by these acolyetes of George Orwell. From politicials who cannot govern without micromanaging peoples lives, to judges who cannot live within the context of the Constitution, to journalists like Chris Matthews, who cannot abide by being an objective reporter of the facts, this generation has become their own nightmare, and ours. But now the war is on; Matthews and company no longer hide behind any pretext, their intent is in plain sight. They will fail miserably in their attempt to make America a leftist 3rd world nation, but it will be a costly war. It's been coming for some time, so let's get it on.

Chris Matthews was an early disciple; his worship is much more obvious. Others in the media are more subtle; some even distract us.
While the Obama-worshiping MSM swoon ad nauseum over the heartfelt challenging decision the Obama’s are heavily confronted with, over choosing precisely the right little puppy for Malia and Sasha, Obama’s cold-blooded dictatorial onslaught is proceeding virtually unnoticed.
It appears that while Obama weaves the coarse threads of his imperious tapestry, his obedient magicians in the mainstream media are distracting America’s focus.

I stopped watching Matthews before the 2004 election. He spent way too much time showing pictures from Abu Ghraib. I used to be able to fast forward through his show and he wouldn't get to anything of substance until there were about twenty minutes left. I stopped watching anything on MSNBC at about the same time.
Matthews wasn't the only one who said anyone who didn't vote for Obama "wasn't ready for a black president". It's why most of the media is going into the trashbin of history. It's also why Democrats will have a hard time getting my vote, ever again. I want Obama to succeed for one reason: if he goes down, he will take the entire country with him.

They missed the portion right before the transcript where they were taking about Emanual and what was he thinking when he was being wishy washy about if he was accepting the post and what was going through Emanual mind since him and Barack would of talked about accepting the position before going public. Matthews response was that since he was a Journalist he never looks into what people are thinking and then comes back with the transcript that this post is all about.

You want to keep watching, just to see what they are doing.
If you want the truth, take whatever the reporters say and assume that the exact opposite is closer to the truth. If they say a segment of the economy is looking good, assume that means that part of the economy is being propped up. It might be good to invest for a while, watch your investment grow and then pull out with modest gains. When you hear or read stories of [whatever you've invested in] being the one bright spot or the hot investment, pull your money OUT.

You want to keep watching, just to see what they are doing.
If you want the truth, take whatever the reporters say and assume that the exact opposite is closer to the truth. If they say a segment of the economy is looking good, assume that means that part of the economy is being propped up. It might be good to invest for a while, watch your investment grow and then pull out with modest gains. When you hear or read stories of [whatever you've invested in] being the one bright spot or the hot investment, pull your money OUT.
