Filling in for Rush today, Mark Belling read a great article by David Kahane on NRO in which he says that Republicans/conservatives have been "bringing a knife to a gunfight," that if we don't learn to fight, we're history. Kahane says that our publications need to "let slip their journalistic dogs of war, assuming they have any" and that surely we have lawyers on our side who can fight in the courts!
The Kahane piece is a great, fun read but what specifically are we to do--especially those of us who are not lawyers or dogs of war? Also, what is Sarah Palin to do about the attacks she faces, and how can we help her (and others the dem attack machine goes after)? Please lets discuss--lots of ideas are needed.

My suggestions:
1) The very first thing that should be accomplished is to close open primaries AND take back
control of the US census. Instead of ACORN, use the USPS as one R Congressman proposed.
2) Take a play out of the Dem playbook and hire a pr/ad agency to rebrand the
loyal opposition movement. Start a game plan to map out taking back the WHouse and beyond.
3) Find citizens who are willing to run for office and start organizing at the grass roots level
4) Find sponsors to back loyal opposition TRU Townhall meetings on health care/cap & trade/immigration
etc...present both thoughts -- in dollars and cents -- take spontaneous questions
5) Push, don't stop, for ACORN organization investigation
6) Pass national reform on elections...ie. how to recount votes, votes should not count more in some
districts than others, determine when a new election should be held, mass registration of fictitious names, dead
people gives the "vote early -- vote often" crowd.
7) Start pushing for eliminating the "shadow" government -- these Czars are enacting cabinet post duties and
are in place without consent. We are paying for two separate cabinets....Why?
8) Term Limits on Congressional office holders...asap
9) Stop trying to get the Left to agree -- they will never go along with the opposition -- they turn tables and
rewrite history -- start holding press conferences to "call" the Left and Pres on a decision, action, speech...
may start with scattered audience but doing nothing is worse....
10) Before more Tarp, Omnibus, stimulus whatever $$ -- ask President O to explain where the $350 billion
he got from Bush -- is now -- AND to release the other 93% of the Stimulus money now not next year,
five years -- or whatever.
11) Start banging a drum to make it known that no bills are being read before passage -- copies not given out
and what ever happened to BHO's 5 days of daylight promise???
These are just a few things off the top of my head..........there is so much that needs to be done or in motion quickly.

I read all the comments to see if anyone gets BHO. NO he not this naive. He is simply doing what any good Muslim would do; ANY THING he can to destroy the "great Satan". It really is that simple. The sad part is that Soros has figured out that if you give the libs some power, even though it will be for the short term, they will follow BHO over a cliff. We can only pray that we get enough constitutional candidates elected in time to stop this madness. What we have in the congress now, whether it's repubs or blue dog dems, THEY aren't doing anything to stop this death march. PEOPLE, WE have to contact our elected officials and SCARE them into stopping this Soros juggernaut.

I heard some crazy loon on talk radio yesterday say that he believed that Obama is actually the inside threat that Bin Ladin/al Queda referenced lying in wait in America. I laughed out loud at that crazy old man......that was yesterday. Today I'm scratching my head. How else do you explain this? My 11 year old is smart enough to know that we are threatened from multiple sources with nuclear threats. You protect the nation from foreign enemies by constitutional mandate as president. When will we call this dereliction of duty? After the devastation? Maybe, just maybe if the whole US citizenry could come together and stop what we're doing to sing cum by yah, the nasty nuclear threat will just disappear? That actually makes more sense than anything Obama has suggested. When will the brilliant One understand that you can't wish for world peace and get it? This is supposed to be the best and brightest president of all times to hear the media rantings. OR he is supremely ignorant OR he is supremely malicious?! He can't be all three of those things.

I don't understand why the Republicans don't take it to the Democrats. The Republicans always sit back and take whatever the Democrats do or say. I personally believe that the people who think Chairman Obama is naive are the ones who are delusional. He is doing exactly what he said he would do prior to being elected. Everything that he does is done with purpose and that purpose is to make the US a third rate power. His intention is to set himself up as dictator for life. And also, how can such a christian nation be so bereft of simple understanding so that they can claim to see, to be "awake"? Does not God bring Kings and Tyrants and Good men to power? All the leaders are seated by God, and all get the leadership they require, to accomplish His end. The men of this country by and large are men and nothing more, and they sleep the sleep of the dead. They run to and fro shouting save the nation save the planet,... to what avail? Nothing has changed and nothing will ever change. "we" is the mechanism that brings death to men, for if your "we" goes past yourself and your God, you are part of an earthly institution and nothing more. In your dreams you dream of Richie Cunningham and days when America could be proud, something "we" had accomplished, God was mere wording, it wasn't Him, it's always been us,us,we,we, never more than that. The leadership you enjoy is as much a product of rightwing hypocracy as it is a product of leftwinginess in general, you have the leadership you deserve, wake up to that. But there is no aparratus that causes the state to function beyond the individuals that function in it, it is what its people are, and if that goes awry and the agreement is lost, the state really is no longer functioning as the agreed-upon state and is, at best, a tempered functional disagreement. The state itself, has no form or body, it is an ordering of functioning. But order, can change momentarily, just like agreement can change, and because the AGREEMENT in this country is a long lost fantasy, I should expect order to change. This is a nation horribly divided in every conceivable way, and if you don't see it, some make consider you to be "sleeping". Don't have time to read all these posts, so I may be repeating someone else's point. Can we get over using naive in reference to BHO? The word naive describes someone not worldly or sophisticated; artless; simple and credulous; ingenuous. By these measures Obama is anything but naive, but rather a coldly calculating plotter and surpreme narcissist who sees everything and everyone in terms of benefit to himself and his desire to stick it to America and make her pay.

Oh, gosh, no disrespect taken, but I must have not clarified my point: The beginning and end of God's plan for the nations does not solely concern itself with matters in this finity, to be born Jewish is as purposeful as being Gentile, your part of the story is no more or less important or significant than any other part of the story regardless to how you justify the meanings of the relativity of details with which God busies Himself. I don't think that a close examination or perusal of that which may seem obvious about God, regardless to your name for Him, carries His concern for each and every individual He has individually created and placed into the time and circumstances they find themselves inhabiting. That said, He will concern Himself with you, not your nation, but the nation Israel is a peculiar connection point between the invisible God above that nobody ever sees and the manifested representative God, the one that is to be seen. There is a contact point between the invisible and visible, that is the family of God, Israel, FAMILY much before NATION. The expression you are playing witness to is a story about God, not Israel, not about nations great and small, it is about the course of history without the guidance of one capable of guiding. This is man's history, bereft almost entirely of God. I don't know from religionists, they seem to like to quantify themselves as well as anybody, what "we" are is somehow more important than whatever God may be.
