Funny--I was just revisited an article about "Frank" a few days ago-- This time around something clicked---Frank's time in Chicago organizing--Obama organizing in Chicago. Frank's involvement with unions and Obama's great affinity with unions.
How close were they? Close enough for Obama to move to Chicago, develop his philosophy and his work after Frank's model?
What are unions really about? Once they helped working class people get a fair shake in the workplace....now they spend union dues to promote their liberal agendas. What is their mission or agenda when it comes to capitalism??
I'm not ashamed to say that I need to learn a lot more--some of you know the answers, so please clue me in on the union mission, and point me toward some reading material.

By the way, bamboo does grow in midwestern United States, however, mostly of the decorative/nourishing variety. Bamboo being used as a weapon to kill or maim buffalo in this region of the world is utterly ridiculous, even if it were 100,000 years ago. Whoever put that museum display together as part of North American history, or whoever told this story in their autobiography, needs to go back to school or quit making asinine things up.

Ayers did not simply "play a part" in the writing of "Dreams of My Father"; he ghostwrote the whole damn thing. The literary styles are mirror-images. The odds against two people using the same metaphors, the same grammatical style, are astronomical.
Of course, nobody would dare to point this out in the mainstream media. Any entity daring to blaspheme The Won in that manner would face instant banishment from his inner circle.

Jack, maybe you want to research whether Ayres has ever mentioned "Aguirre, Wrath Of Gods" (??), or situations from that picture in his other efforts, and in which terms if so - the European shrunken heads reminiscence made me laugh so well.
I don't remember though whether Aguirre's companion in the film was a red-head - but I take seriously these unintentional slippages. If any "Aguirre" element checks out, that would be quite a Freudian slip - and a hoot.

Interesting stuff indeed and all thought provoking. IN fact, having lived in NYC virtually all of my life except for the past ten years since coming to So California and recalling the bomb explosion in the city when Billy's friends had an "accident", I also recall that Obama was at Columbia while Ayres was living just eight blocks away and going to Bank Street College and all around that time come a few interesting other little tid-bits of recollection. Ayres lived at 520 West 123rd Street!
For example, wasn't Obama part of the Columbia group that protested the South African Rugby team? And there were the curious bombings in NYC of the New York City’s Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, the Israeli Aircraft Industries Building, New York City’s South African Consulate all around the time the two of fellow Chicago-ins were in NY. Not to mention the firebombing of a judges home! Percy Sutton was Manhattan Borough President when he was asked by Kahlid Mansour to write the letter to Harvard for the wonder boy, all around that time as well. And let's not forget the infamous Brinks robbery! I lived in New City at the time and the Nanuet Mall where the act took place was where I would get the bus to downtown NY. That robbery was masterminded by several members of the Weather Underground! Let's not forget the Brink's guard they murdered or the police officers they executed, Edward O'Grady, Waverly Brown.
I remember that day because of all the activity as the bus pulled into the mall complex and was detoured away from where it normally stopped. However, ghostwritten books by politicians are not uncommon. The bigger picture is this: Obama is, for all intents and purposes, a foreigner. Technically I have no doubt that he meets the Constitutional requirement for citizenship. Culturally and emotionally, though, he's simply not an American.
This president was never a member of the Cub Scouts, never went to the county fair, never went to church on Sunday, never went deer hunting, never rode in the back of a pickup truck, never owned a .22 rifle, never had a puppy, and never marched in the 4th of July Parade with down Main St.

Sekou Odinga - Obama's real name? Could it be that Dunham is not his mother, that she would not have moved from Hawaii to Seattle within days of giving birth to go to school? Am I missing something, or is it not a heinous lie that Hussein O'Butthole says he listened to the Watergate hearings while visiting the mainland in 1972?
Regarding this very well-recorded event, the hearings started 17-May-1973, a full year after this mental midget claims to have been listening to them. **That is not a small oversight**. I remember the summer very, very distinctly, as I was 16 years old. Apparently he doesn't. Like he doesn't remember much of anything. Convenient memory is one of the most bedrock traits of a liberal.
What's shocking is that no editor bothered to read this and catch it after William Ayers wrote it for Osama. What's more shocking is that this fledgling political genius didn't even bother to read the fiction that Ayers wrote for him.
This written and published error in Osama's history reveals that he is nothing more than a liberal hallucination. Soory, powhitemale, no can do, but that's OK. As far as resigning, Soetoro can't resign the office because he doesn't hold it. As far as impeachment, only a president can be impeached, and since Soetoro is not the President, the impeachment process is neither necessary nor appropriate. All that is required is for a small squad of Marines to escort the usurper and his family off the premises, deposit them on the street, and transport him to an 8x8 in Leavenworth prior to deportation to Indonesia. Same for the alleged "Vice President", Homer Simpson Biden. That POS is no more President by virtue of his physical presence in that building than you or I would be. Why was this POS even allowed near the first of the 57 primaries?. He has shown NO proof of ANY legal citizenship, let alone natural born, which he does not have. Squatting on US soil for 3 decades or so doesn't count!!. I had to show more proof of who I claim to be in order to rent a DVD at Blockbuster the other evening than Soetoro has ever had. The probability is quite high, indeed near certain, that he is in fact an illegal alien and therefore subject to arrest and deportation. When is ICE going to do their job?. Speaking of "nuggets of fraud", Professor Obama needs to take a final exam on the Constitution because this teacher/scholar either doesn't know the law, or he deliberately bends it to suit his purposes. He and his liberal backers will say that all politicians use ghost writers and that there is no sin in making a FEW technical mistakes in his text. Jack, another great entry. I think you should be honored with the Medal of Honor, clearly, you will have progressed upward on the "Enemies List." Expect a dead fish or horse head in the mail with a Chicago address. My theory of the "shrunken heads" is the legacy media on that shelf and that is what so impresses Ayers and Obama. My biggest curiosity is did Obama take the time to even read "Dreams"? This empty suit is lazy, I question he spent the time, come to think about it the MSM is just about as lazy too. Let's not forget, Obama himself said his parents met at the civil rights rally in Selma where shortly after "Barack Junior" was sired. The rally of course occured in 1965.
However, Obama's parents met in Hawaii and he was born there in 1961.

Here are my questions about "Dreams":
why would Times Books publish a book written by a little known person that was sure to fail to draw any interest? Obama claims to have written the book and it was published in 1995 prior to his winning any elections. It was suggested that Obama being the first minority to have been the president of the Harvard Law Review was the reason. But the fact is, Obama was not the first minority to be president of the HLR, in fact, during his term as president of the HRL, there is nothing that can be found that he wrote and he had not previously written anything (articles, law reviews, etc) that would have caused Time Books to think he had the ability to write a book that would at least provide Time with a return on publishing costs.
So what was the reason to publish his book? And who encouraged him to write it and for what purpose? Dreams is nothing more than a story of some unknown's personal journey, and would have drawn little interest. Who facilitated the deal with Times Books?
Who would have pushed the publication of Dreams?
What Dreams does do is give us insight into a man who was raised by grandparents after his mother decided to globe hop, a man who was put into tony secondary school where he would have been a majority (as a man of color) and who lived in a state where people of color are the majority. He also lived in a state where "Kill Haole Day" is a ritual. (A haole being a white person)
His whole life has been scripted from his leaving Hawaii to attend a university on the mainland (although both his parents attended the University of Hawaii), to finding his way to Chicago after a stint at Columbia to winding up at Harvard. What do unions want versus what they say they want.
Well, they are not for workers, only union workers, and this is often debated as their positions often seem contrary to what independant observers might conclude were not in the best interests of their members.
Too often they are corrupt and their workers too easily recruited for nasty political activities. Union workers are the quintessential astroturfers.
They will negotiate work rules and benefits and salary packages that are, in the long run, ruinous to employers, so that are not looking out for the long term interests of their members. The net effect is to make the employer noncompetitive except in closed markets. GM and Chrysler are two examples.
Unions are for high tariffs to protect their members. Closed markets means less competition and higher salaries and benefits to their members. This means higher prices to consumers. The recent push by the unions (and not the domestic manufacturers) for higher tariffs on tires from China is the latest example. Of course, China retaliated by raising tariffs on nylon. Tariff wars lead to closed markets and higher union domination of the workplace. If this screws the consumer, so what.
Unions push for an ever higher high minimum wage, which pushes the unskilled out of the labor market. This also makes union wages more competitive. Again, the consumer pays more and the unskilled are excluded from the job market. The recent increase in the minimum wage, during a rescission, caused a loss of 300,000 jobs in the 18 to 24 age bracket, with a resulting unemployment rate in excess of 30%. For blacks in th.ise age group the unemployment rate now exceeds 50%.

For example, waiting for an electrician to plug some appliance or other into an ordinary receptacle after a carpenter puts together a fold up display stand adds unnecessary costs, as employers covered by union contracts ... I had an epiphany last Christmas Season (giant leap of knowledge). At the time I was well aware that Obama is a communist.
As I prepared my house for the festivities that lie in the days ahead, it occurred to me as I listened to Bing, Nat, Andy Williams sing the greatest
from the American songbook, while my daughter was getting excited to watch Charlie Brown and White Christmas and get out the Monopoly,
it hit me that this impostor was devoid of this experience. Something so quintessentially North American the Christmas Season, the music, the tree, the movies was NEVER a part of his childhood.
This impostor sat around with commie grandparents and their commie pals who probably discouraged any of these traditional activities.
Then I heard there would be no tree in the Obama white house what a surprise.
There were no cowboy movies for little Obama, no lunar landing excitement let alone p.j's with cowboys or rockets, no toy rifles, no green army men to play with, nothing remotely "American" definitely no Monopoly.
He is the most un-American American, and lo and behold he is the President of your country.
It just floors me when I hear a man like Cheney the elegant statesman speak about his Country, the polar opposite of Obama.
God help the U.S.A and ask Santa for a new President, or for the a covert ops team to find the notes in Ayers house.

Such journalistic endeavors are an old tool for enriching politicians as they do not have to be reported as campaign contributions or disclosed to any entity other than the IRS, and all that fine organization cares about is the reportable income less any lawful deductions. Better questions would be to ask who bought the book and how many copies each purchaser acquired. Clearly, it was the articulate one’s journalistic skills which made him a multi-millionaire.

I think the year difference might be significant, as I have seen it come up elsewhere. There's some debate over whether he was five or six when he went to Indonesia. Apparently, this could have made a difference regarding his possible adoption and possible Indonesian citizenship.

Some here are curious as to who exactly is the man behind the obumah curtain, the master puppeteer. I think I have a possible answer though I must confess that I have no proof, only a hunch. I am currently working through the book “Profiting With Forex” by John Jagerson and S. Wade Hansen. ‘Forex’ is a contraction for ‘Foreign Exchange’, the world currency market. Anyone who has traveled to Canada and swapped American dollars for their Canadian counterpart has played the Forex market. George Soros is a grandmaster at profiting from this money trade. According to the authors of this book, in the early 1990s, “speculators - with hedge fund magnate George Soros in the lead - began to recognize the inherent weakness of the British economy and attack the British pound.” Soros “traded against the British pound” and (this bet) “paid off to the tune of approximately $1 billion in profits.” (pages 63-65). Soros is well-known to many of us as the deep pockets behind many ultra left wing organizations. I believe that he and his komrades are similarly attacking and betting against the US dollar. This explains, at least partially, why he is willing to spend so much money funding politicians and political movements which seem eager to destroy OUR economy. Hopefully, someone with more resources than I will put my thoughts under a microscope before it’s too late.

It was published in 2006 and predicts that this group will make their big move to take over the Presidency in 2008.

Tom Lipscomb put out a helluva great column at pajamasmedia.com last week basically kicking open a door to any and all investigative journalists surrounding this authorship issue--an issue, he said was not settled.
He mentioned he had put some calls out to a few guys regarding this, can't recall who they were but do you have any idea if anyone else is now bird dogging this issue along with you? Surely, if the publisher guy says it needs to be looked into, then some keen investigator would really start going to great lengths to connect these dots that you have basically spaced an inch apart for them.

MSM and Obots cannot accept Obama did not write Dreams From My Father because it would require them to follow-up on that conclusion and ask the next obvious question: Do you mean Obama is a fraud and a lie? They can't ask that question or their world would implode. So they ignore the precursor.

Am I not correct in thinking that no one even knew who Obama was when this book was written? Who has ever heard of someone who is not a known celebrity, public figure, etc.(which he wasn't at this time) writing a biography? And who in the world would buy it? These questions alone should send people's antennaes up! Powerful forces have been grooming this man.... and for pretty obvious reasons!
I do think it's an obvious conclusion that he did not write the book.... just as he doen't write whats on the teleprompter!
